  Mission Statement 

  • Sponsor Development – Supporting our members with Conference Initiatives and Guidelines.
  • To provide a platform for individual members to bring matters of concern that may impact their commercial viability in a corporate environment.
  • To provide information on tenders, special interest or changes in the commercial environment as may be effected by any level of government or association.
  • To provide a corporate entity to negotiate or lobby on behalf of its’ members.
  • To represent members to associations or groups that operate in the library industry.
  • To Support the Library Industry as a whole.
Established: ALSA was established at a meeting in 2007 by group of concerned industry members
Membership: Membership open to all companies who deal with Public, School, Private or Special Libraries in Australia
Office Bearers: The executive comprises the following positions: President, Vice president, secretary & treasurer and additional committee members
Structure: Executive representing membership
AGM: Generally held at the NSW Public Library Conference each year
