Sponsor Development – Supportive Acts
To provide a platform for individual members to bring matters of concern that may impact their commercial viability in a corporate environment
To provide information on tenders, special interest or changes in the commercial environment as may be effected by any level of government or association
To provide a corporate entity to negotiate or lobby on behalf of its’ members
To represent members to associations or groups that operate in the library industry

Established:	ALSA was established at a meeting in 2007 by group of concerned industry members
Membership:	Full membership open to all companies who deal with libraries in Australia
Office Bearers:	The executive comprises the following positions: President, Vice president, secretary & treasurer and three additional committee members
Structure:	Executive representing membership
AGM:	Generally held in July of each year
Communication:	Via website, email, phone & fax as listed
